Kyra Minturn
Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965) is an American actor from America. Her most well-known work is her leading role as deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. In the final season of the show Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13 on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her recurring role in the role of Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe for her role in Something to Talk About (1995). Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are in addition to her numerous. Sedgwick was one of the New York City native, the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald (nee Rosenwald), an educator and family therapist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VI as the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick has stated that she is Jewish and has said that she is a part of Passover seders.
